Jackie is a NC licensed Broker. A life-long resident of Lumberton, with the exception of military assignments with her husband Dexter, she loves calling Robeson County home. She has two daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica and Matthew Scott and Tara and Ryan Bullard and 4 grands, Tehya, Aydan, Gabriel and Ethan. Jackie attends Berea Baptist church in Pembroke and servers as secretary on the Children of the Carolinas Foundation. She enjoys baking, reading, RVing and riding the Harley with her husband of 41 years, Dexter, and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Max. Jackie earned her undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, a master’s in education at Campbell University and post graduate work at NC State University.

Jackie had a 35 year career in education with the State of North Carolina and 2 years with the Department of Defense as ACS director in Hohenfels, Germany. Ten of her 35 years with the State were at Lumberton Senior High and the additional 25 years were with The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As director of admissions and later vice chancellor for enrollment management at UNC Pembroke, the freshman class tripled and overall enrollment more than doubled. Additionally, the freshman class academic profile increased significantly with students from all 100 NC counties and an increase in out-of-state and international students. Jackie served as an enrollment management consultant for 15 years with Noel-Levitz, Inc., assisting colleges and universities throughout the US with developing and achieving their enrollment goals.
