In January 1973, a 'new to the area' industry lured my family from Concord, NH to Lumberton with the promise of milder weather and a slower pace of life.
As soon as my children were enrolled in school, I started looking for something to fill my free time. After having a stressful job in electronic assembly and government quality control in NH, I was ready for s situation dealing with people. After a number of jobs in retail and customer service, a whole new career opened up to me as Administrative Assistant at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church - a wonderful, fulfilling position that lasted for 30 years. After retiring in May of 2011, I found I was not able to just be at home. A dear friend suggested that I apply to RE/MAX Real Estate Exchange, and as the old saying goes, the rest is history.
Since September of 2011, I have been part of a fantastic team of professional, caring ladies and gentlemen who love what they do and give their very best to each client. Now I'm known as "the office mom" and loving every minute of it.
